There were some younger people working over the summer holidays under the previous guy in charge, and they all left once school started up again in September. All of them were given their P45 (UK document given to people when they leave employment for tax reasons), so they officially have left the

I have had a long standing dislike/rivalry/hatred with L the other Night Auditor. Being on time is 9/10ths of your job in my book. She's late ALL the time so I've lost all respect for her. It's just rude. Five minutes here and there can be forgiven. But 15+. NOPE. Most places would be like SEE YA

If you decide you need to drink yourself into such a state that you can't work the next day then it's probably a good idea not to do so in the pub you work in. After having refused to serve you anymore and you declaring you had more alcohol at home anyway no one is going to believe you have come down with some kind of bug.
